HummingBird Flight: 

Hummingbirds have stiff wings and their flight has been described as "rowing in air." If that's the case, then it is very fast rowing!

Getting a slow motion movie with an iPhone requires a lot of memory. A half hour shot at high speed required for slow motion can take about 10 gigabytes of drive space. Slow motion at the bird feeder is always a sure bet as you are bound to get some traffic, but when you aim at a flower, it takes luck.

In this case I was lucky. I aimed an iPhone at an English Evening Primrose and a hummingbird came to visit a few minutes later.
