Back to the townhouse, back to living in the USA after a hiatus of 37 years. My brain had finally thawed after the long trip home from Kathmandu... but maybe not totally.
I was checking out the garden I had planted in April thinking "I should write about all these tomatoes dangling from the vines! It seems like only yesterday that I planted them."
Note to reader: Still suffering jet lag. It does some weird things to the experience of time.
"I should take some nice photos in the early morning light tomorrow" but the thought was passing from one side of my addled brain to the other, then the thought moved down my fingers. But my fingers didn't listen at all to my thoughts and I started to strip some of the finest samples off the vine.
Soon I had all the ingredients of a salad desert: leaf lettuce, yellow pear tomato, black cherry tomatoes, honey cherry tomatoes, and red Roma tomatoes.
A few slices...
Some dressing and Parmesan cheese, and yum, I ate my post.
